Another year on a sustainable path
6th EEW sustainability report and second edition of the EEW sustainability magazine "In Dialogue for Sustainability" published
EEW Energy from Waste (EEW) today published its 6th sustainability report. The company is once again voluntarily publishing a comprehensive report before the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) makes the EU reporting requirement applicable to EEW as of 2025 reporting year.
In 2022, EEW reviewed and refined its sustainability strategy. As a result of this, EEW has set itself 14 ambitious targets to be reached by 2030 in five areas of action. Whit these the company both defines priorities and addresses the requirements of external stakeholders. The strategic targets are supported by operational targets and benchmarks in a roadmap.
At EEW, we are working hard to further optimise our processes, conserve resources and develop innovative solutions to position our company for the future. In the past year, we once again systematically advanced the implementation of our goals outlined in the Sustainability Roadmap 2030 and continued to follow our sustainabale path.
In our current sustainability publications, we present in detail the progress we have made. We would like to engage you in a dialogue about sustainability in various formats:
Our sustainability report for 2023 is prepared in accordance with the reporting standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and, as a progress report, documents the progress in achieving our goals.
However, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond numbers and data. It is about taking responsibility and driving positive change together. In the second edition of our sustainability magazine "In Dialogue for Sustainability", we use concrete examples to show how we are driving positive change together with our partners.
