DNK confirms EEW sustainability course

Since 2019, i.e. for the fourth time by now, EEW has been reporting on its own contribution in the areas of environment, social affairs and responsible corporate governance in the German Sustainability Code (DNK). This means that we are not only voluntarily reporting on our strategy, measures, effects and goals in terms of sustainability in yet another place - after careful examination of the content, the DNK office has once again confirmed our efforts for sustainable development.

Sustainability standard with high comparability

The Sustainability Code was launched in 2010 by the German Council for Sustainable Development (RNE) as a cross-sector transparency standard for corporate sustainability performance. It defines 20 criteria as well as supplementary non-financial performance indicators according to which companies can disclose their sustainability activities.  These include topics such as innovation and product management, resource management, climate-relevant emissions, employee and human rights, and equal opportunities. More than 1,000 companies are now listed in the Code.
