In dialogue for sustainability

Transformation embedded in day-to-day business

Over its 150-year history, EEW has not only been shaped and changed by the passing years, it has also consistently evolved. This constant process of transformation continues and will continue. As we transform, our primary goal is to make our business more sustainable. The central focus areas are reducing emissions, securing resources and strengthening the circular economy. One lighthouse project in this regard can be found in Delfzijl in the Netherlands, where CO2 will be used as a raw material in future. Becoming more sustainable also means increasing efficiency. At EEW, one vital tool for this is digitalisation, which will make many processes more standardised, quicker and more efficient. We have also made great progress here – and will continue to do so.
