EEW-PartnerDialogues on the effects of the carbon pricing started
Despite concerns expressed by experts and industry associations, the Bundestag and the Bundesrat decided to put a CO2 price on thermal waste treatment in Germany from 2024 as part of the Fuel Emissions Trading Act (BEHG). This decision has implications for all players in the waste industry. EEW has invited its customers to an initial information event in Hanover as part of the EEW-PartnerDialogues to provide insights into the legal framework, the effects and how to deal with the new regulations.
Transparent information and communication
At the EEW PartnerDialogues, we get into conversation with our customers at an early stage. In this way, we can provide transparent information about the changes associated with the BEHG and discuss the practical implementation of the requirements together.
We are pleased to offer this platform of knowledge sharing and collaboration to our customers to navigate through and master the opportunities and challenges of carbon pricing in thermal waste treatment.
